FOUNDER

Jason Boles

Jason Boles is the Owner and Operator of Lawn Works Triad INC, a company he founded in 2008 with nothing more than hard work, long days, and a vision for providing reliable, high-quality lawn care in the Triad.

Before going full-time with Lawn Works, Jason worked a nine-hour shift each day and then mowed lawns until dark. He kept that pace for two years, growing his client base one yard at a time through consistency, honesty, and exceptional service. His dedication paid off — within a year of taking Lawn Works full-time, the company was thriving, and it has continued to grow every year since.

Today, Lawn Works runs multiple crews, serves residential and commercial clients across the Triad, and is recognized as a dependable, high-quality lawn maintenance provider. Jason oversees operations, builds client relationships, develops service strategies, and continues pushing the company forward with the same hands-on work ethic that built it from the ground up.

Robert Gorden

With 28 years of lawn and landscaping experience and 13 years at Lawn Works, Robert Gordon is the backbone of our field operations and one of the most respected leaders on our team.

As Operations Manager, Robert oversees all daily crew activities, ensures routes run smoothly, and is the person every new employee trains with. His knowledge of lawn care, equipment, and efficient workflow is unmatched. Robert has a natural ability to teach, lead, and motivate—making him the one everyone enjoys working with.

Robert is extremely efficient, detail-oriented, and dependable. He is truly Jason’s right- and left-hand man when it comes to managing the field. Whether he’s coordinating crews, solving problems before they even happen, or mentoring new team members, Robert keeps Lawn Works running at its highest level.

His dedication, leadership, and consistency are a huge part of why Lawn Works is known for quality, reliability, and excellence.

Max Boles

Max Boles brings decades of hands on experience, craftsmanship, and work ethic to Lawn Works. Before joining the team, Max spent many years as part of a family-run brick masonry company alongside his father and brother. Together, they laid brick on countless homes throughout High Point, Trinity, and surrounding communities, helping shape neighborhoods across the Triad.

When the housing market crashed in 2008 and masonry work slowed, Max shifted gears and launched his own lawn and landscape company, YardSmart, in 2010. He built a strong, loyal customer base through dependable service, honesty, and the same dedication he brought to masonry.

In 2024, Max merged YardSmart with Lawn Works, bringing all of his clients under the Lawn Works umbrella. Today, he is semi-retired, but he still plays an essential role in the company.

Max handles:

• Field support when crews need an extra hand

• Small projects and specialty tasks

• General “fix-anything” problem solving

Max is truly the team’s reliable go-to guy. Whether it’s tuning equipment, checking job quality, or hopping into a crew when needed, he’s always ready to help keep Lawn Works running smoothly.

Brian Mains

Brian Mains has been an important part of the Lawn Works team for over four years, bringing unmatched leadership, professionalism, and capability to every job he touches. As a Captain with the City of High Point Fire Department, Brian operates daily in high-pressure, high-responsibility environments — and that same level of discipline and expertise shows in his work with us.

When he is on the schedule, Brian serves as one of our crew leaders, confidently guiding teams through mowing, landscaping, and project-based work. He is skilled in every aspect of lawn and landscape services and has the ability to excel at anything we assign him. His strong leadership, calm decision-making, and exceptional work ethic make him one of the most versatile people on our roster.

What areas do you serve?

We proudly serve the Triad region, including Greensboro, High Point, Trinity, Oak Ridge, Jamestown, Summerfield, and nearby communities. Our crews work locally, so you always get fast response times and consistent care.

How often do you mow lawns?

We offer weekly mowing from March through October, with each visit including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing. Most properties receive about 32–34 visits per year, depending on weather and growth rate.

What’s included in your fertilization program?

Our seven-step annual program runs from February to December. It includes balanced fertilizers and weed-control treatments designed to keep healthy, green fescue lawns throughout the growing season.

Do you offer seasonal cleanups?

Yes. We provide fall cleanups weekly from October to December and spring cleanups bi-weekly from March to April. These services include leaf removal, bed edging, trimming, and debris removal to refresh your property before each season.

What types of landscaping projects do you handle?

We handle full landscape installations, including new sod or seed lawns, tree and shrub planting, mulch installation, and drainage solutions such as French drains and downspout extensions.

Do you provide snow removal services?

Yes. We offer snow plowing, shoveling, and de-icing services for residential and commercial clients. Our snow operations activate at 2–3 inches of snowfall, with commercial properties cleared before business hours.
